What is spirituality? |

A simple definition of spirituality is connecting with our higher selves and with The Creator, the Life Force, the Universal Spirit- or whatever name you desire to give to that Divine energy.
We can do this through prayer, meditation, being in nature and watching a sunset, or by giving unconditional love to others, for example. By understanding that we are both spiritual and human, we can embrace our oneness with this Life Force. Spirituality comes from a place of love and light. Thoughts, words and actions that come from a spiritual place are naturally loving and beneficial. When we ask to be guided by the Universe, or Universal Spirit, our guidance will reflect love, peace, well-being and abundance. Co-creating with Divine Spirit allows us to bypass our ego and to embrace opportunities that present themselves through this higher presence. Universal Spirit often offers us new situations enveloping the "big picture" that we may not be able to envision on our own.
