When we feel at peace, when we feel joyful in the
moment, when we feel "connected" with others-we
know that we are home. When we are aligned with our
own center of power we open ourselves to the beauty
surrounding us, and let go of any feelings of
"separation."
Change offers us the gift of greater freedom with
chances to soar, to grow, to try our wings and to
be adventurous. We can still feel safe and
supported in the knowledge that all changes we
experience are truly for our highest personal
and spiritual growth. We are always supported
by the Universe!
Everything we can possibly desire is already here for us
in the Universe. At each moment we can choose to
align with peace, harmony, love, freedom, creativity,
integrity, service and other uplifting qualities. It is in
making choices from moment to moment that we create
our life.
The Law of Attraction is the Universal Law that helps
you focus on attracting what you truly want. You
always attract what your deepest feelings and
thoughts are focused on. If you experience loving
feelings as you think about being with a partner who is
compatible and with whom you can share adventures
and dreams together-you will ultimately attract that
partner.
On the other hand, you may believe at a deeper
level that you don't deserve a great relationship, or
that you never attract a supportive or compatible
partner. You may be convinced that intimate partners
are untrustworthy, or that they will not commit to you
in the long term. Your feeling energy, then, is aligned
with fear or anger, rather than love and trust. The type

When certain beliefs no longer serve you, you can
choose the step-by-step process provided to alter
them.
Using the specific guided imagery sessions you can
release beliefs at a deep level of mind. Our mind is
highly receptive and non-judgmental in this relaxed
state of focused awareness. So, for example, you can
let go of the belief, "I don't trust that a love partner
will commit to me and to our relationship." Your new
intention might be "I deserve to be loved fully. I attract
a loving and supportive partner who is my soulmate,
and who naturally commits to our relationship!"
Progressive Affirmations are useful when there is a gap
between your beliefs and the desired outcome. For
instance you might affirm "I deserve to be loved fully"
for one week. Release techniques are used prior to the
affirmation. Then you move on to the next intention "I
attract a loving and supportive partner" releasing any
blocks until you are totally in unison with your
affirmation. Your final affirmation might be "My
soulmate naturally commits to our relationship."
Guided Imagery is highly effective in releasing stress or
to imagine a situation you desire to create in your life.
Mental imagery is practiced in a deeply relaxed state of
mind- guided by someone who takes you through the
experience. In this state of relaxed focus you are
deeply serene yet alert. Brain waves slow down
considerably from your normal waking consciousness.
You are naturally at this relaxed level just as you wake
up before opening your eyes, or as you begin to fall
asleep. Another example is when you are completely
engrossed in an activity and lose track of time.
Guided imagery includes all of the senses: sight, sound,
smell, taste, and feeling. Imagine an orange as you
mentally see its color, sense its texture, taste it, smell
the fruit fragrance, and enjoy this simple pleasure with
your senses.

Recently I started working with a client who was feeling
guilty about not spending enough time with her
children. For the purpose of this article, we'll call her
Linda. She had remarried, and found that she was
commuting to see her kids once a week. Linda was
feeling confused, separate from her family members,
including her husband, and frustrated with her situation.
We began by shifting her perception and her feelings.
She started to focus on aligning her energy with
feelings of love for her family-both her husband and
children. She used progressive affirmations to solidify
the love, joy and togetherness she and her family
enjoyed. She began to use guided imagery imagining
the ease and flow of this situation, and how everyone
was supporting each other.
Even though she still commutes each week, Linda
now feels lighter, happier and at peace with herself
and her family. She is now free of guilt because she
chose to enjoy the moments spent with her family, and
to focus on the love they share.
We can access our inner guidance at any time. Ideally
we want to check in with our inner inspiration daily, and
even several times a day. The Power Your Life Method

lower vibrational feelings such as frustration,
impatience and anger. Through awareness of both the
feelings and the physical responses we notice, we can
make clear decisions that correspond to what we truly
desire.
Like most of us, you have probably experienced
situations in the past where you made decisions
that seemed to make sense logically, but you felt tense
or uncomfortable at the time you made them. Try to
think of a personal situation like this now. How did you
feel? Were you frustrated, impatient, upset or angry?
Inspirational guidance may come at unexpected
moments, such as when we are taking a walk, working
out, or driving. These are moments when we allow
space -when we are not thinking. Receiving inner
guidance from our higher self happens during moments
of silence and peace, which is why simple meditation
and relaxation are key. The more we learn the many
ways to connect with our inner wisdom, the more
aligned we are with clear and true decision making.
Life takes on greater clarity and depth of meaning when
we consistently follow what our natural intuition tells us.

Connecting with your spiritual nature gives you the
wonderful opportunity of asking and receiving guidance
through your higher self. Some people, like myself,
enjoy being guided by the Universal Spirit, Universal
Intelligence and Love. There are many names for the
same being, such as God, Allah, Buddha and so on.
Whatever your religious belief may be, the all knowing
intelligence leads you to the highest path for all
involved. Spiritual wisdom enables you to take inspired
and loving action from an endless source-a boundless
ocean of wisdom, beauty, light, and abundance.
When I lived in Paris in the 70's and 80's I was in the
midst of an extremely difficult relationship and marriage.
Separated from family and some of my close friends, I
felt alone and helpless concerning my relationship
dilemmas.
I "happened upon" a friend's book by Unity Church
minister Emmet Fox. The book was entitled "The Power
of Constructive Thinking." It was the catalyst to a
lifetime of profound spiritual and personal growth. Such
great teachers have enabled me to integrate spiritual
and practical ways into my everyday life-creating
miracles. I am grateful to have met my husband and
soulmate, Tom, through this very process over eleven
years ago.

Monthly Technique:
Close your eyes, and take a deep breath.
Relax...Imagine a beautiful golden light near your solar
plexus, just above the stomach. This is the center of
your true power. Imagine this light expanding out, filling
your entire being. See this light extending beyond
yourself.
Now, bring within feelings of empowerment. They may
be feelings of
love...freedom...enthusiasm...success...fulfillment.
Remember a time when you experienced these emotions
if necessary.
Finally, from this powerful feeling state, imagine that
you are living the life you love, enjoying creative and
adventurous activities, sharing times with loved ones,
traveling, painting, reading-whatever you would be
doing in your ideal life.
Notice the feelings that these scenes bring up for
you. Did you feel freer? Full of life? Blissful? Fulfilled?
Peaceful? Loved? Whatever feelings were the strongest
for you are the ones that correspond to your soul's
desires.
Affirmation:
I align with the feelings of joy and enthusiasm today.
