Being the Source, by Marcie Hunt, Power Your Life Coach
"You never do anything that is not in some way
an attempt to bring more light into your life."
Sanaya Roman, Author of Personal Power Through
Awareness.
Perhaps viewing ourselves as being separate and
incomplete is one of the greatest challenges we
experience as human beings-particularly if we desire
to be an evolved person.
Becoming truly powerful shifts from yearning for what
we don't have, to being connected with the Universal
Spirit. Our power comes from within, as we choose to
live and to co-create with the Universe.
In order to understand the differences between living
in lack,
and living in wholeness, let's compare the two.
Then we will look at ways we can move toward
wholeness.
The following examples may also help us to
understand in what ways our emotions have held us
back in the past. When we view ourselves as a
separate and limited
person we:
- need to "prove" ourselves
- want to be "right" often
- expect others to understand us
- want others to meet our expectations
- feel jealous
- feel inferior
- feel sorry for ourselves
- become impatient or angry often
- are in a state of "lack"
- fear being judged or rejected
As we shift from feeling separate and limited, we
begin to experience a wholeness within,
a connectedness with others, and with the Universe.
Here are some of the qualities of the evolved person:
- I am the sum of my mind, body, emotions and
spirit.
- I am energetically aligned with All.
- I am loving, powerful and spiritual.
- I choose to live fully in the present moment.
- I love and accept myself just the way I am.
- I am constantly creating my life.
- I feel complete, whole and prosperous.
- I radiate love and light to others.
- I am guided by a greater wisdom .
- I can be, do or have anything.
An essential key to making the shift from separation
and lack, to wholeness and abundance is to change
the process.
Most of us have been taught that when we "have"
something, we can "do" something and then we
can "be" something. If we have a red Porsche, we
can attract beautiful women, or handsome men, and
we can be even more appealing and powerful!
The problem with this process is that we always
remain in the state of desire and lack-never really
achieving the sense of abundance, true power and
satisfaction we desire.
Imagine that we change this process to Be-Do-Have.
What is it that you want to have?
What would you be if you had "that"? (Would you be
happy, free, loving, peaceful?)
Begin to feel those very qualities and soon you will
attract the situations, people or appropriate action
that enables you to have what you desire.
Many people who have used this creative process
find that they feel so good, that what
they attract is not as important as how they
feel.
Years ago, I used to visualize attracting clients and
receiving lots of money. As I began to understand
the "process" of being and paying attention to the
qualities I desired, my life began to shift.
As I concentrated on serving the needs of others, I
started to
attract only clients that really benefited from my
coaching services. When I "brought within" feelings of
love, wisdom, joy, creativity, peace, and mutual
support, these qualities automatically became part of
the coaching process.
"The trick is to be aware of how you feel
about things as distinct from what you think about
them or think you should feel. Physical, emotional and
mental clarity are essential in order to allow you to
fully manifest Spirit." Author, Tony Stubbs, An
Ascension Handbook.
Being the Source means allowing our good feelings to
take top priority. What feelings do you enjoy most in
life? Are they feelings of freedom, loving support,
meaningful purpose, peace?
Start "doing" once you know what feelings you desire
to have, as a result of your actions. Then notice
what changes occur. Do you sense that there is
greater ease and less "forcing" to achieve your goals?
When we start with "Being" first, we let go of any
resistance, feelings of lack, and pushing to achieve
goals. By creating a channel
for the qualities we desire to occur in our lives, we
become more peaceful, fulfilled, joyful, and relaxed.
As we experience a deeper fulfillment, we tune in to
the synchronicities of life, the daily miracles that lead
us toward our greatest joy, and the expression of our
highest self.
