Affirmations are clear statements that you consciously say to produce a
desired result. These statements are said in the present tense to describe the positive conditions or qualities you want to experience. You verbally state your intentions to make personal transformative change in some manner or other.
Here are the principles affirmations are based upon:
Your physical reality is directly related to your essential beliefs. You may be familiar with quantum energy. Research has shown that everything is energy. The Law of Attraction shows us that like energy attracts like energy.
Each of us emits energy vibrations through our thoughts and feelings. By shifting an unwanted belief or feeling, we can change the events in our lives through this attractor energy. In this way we become conscious creators of our lives.
By reinforcing these beliefs in the form of affirmations, and over a
period of time, you create healthy habits and beliefs.
Practice is important, and can be likened to doing exercise. If you work
out several times a week, for example, you build muscle strength and
tone. Your body changes and you become more physically fit.
Through the process of transforming your thoughts and the emotions that
charge them, you change your reality. It is essential that your feelings are in sinc with what you are affirming. If, for instance, you are affirming peace but you are feeling angry, your affirmation will not be effective. You may need to do some releasing techniques or transforming beliefs.
